To enter, budding sleigh hoppers must simply go into their favourite local Newquay business of any type, take a photo of themselves in there and provide up to fifty words as to why this is their favourite spot. Whether this is a Fish & Chip shop, amusement arcade, café, retailer or otherwise, kids simply have to make sure they get their entries in by Sunday November 23rd.
The lucky winners of this revolutionary new competition will meet Santa and his real-life reindeer at the Victoria Hotel at 18.30 hours on the night of Friday November 28th, where they will board the sleigh on this unique and memorable voyage. The duo will be the envy of the town as they make their way towards Marcus Hill to witness the activation of the town’s lights by Pirate FM’s Holly Day.
Newquay BID Manager, Kate Cortez, says of the competition, “This is a fantastic new initiative that we are offering this year and we are really excited. Our BID members are hoping their business is the winner’s choice! I just wish I was young enough to enter myself and we’re really looking forward to seeing the kid’s entries.”
