There’s Eggstra fun to be had in Fore Street, Newquay this Easter Sunday with the Extravaganza event. Experience the first community food and craft market in Belushi’s or come and see Steel Appeal, Newquay’s very own 10 piece steel band. Don’t forget to complete the Easter egg hunt trail too, with a yummy chocolate treat for everyone that can find all the eggs in the shops in Fore Street!
Bought to you by Belushi’s and Newquay BID, the event is aimed at bringing more families into into Newquay on Easter Sunday. To take part in the Easter egg hunt children need to go to Belushi’s and pick up the clue sheet – they will then have to go to shops around Fore Street and find the missing eggs! Once completed, return the clue sheet to Belushi’s and claim your chocolate treat!
Sam Mellors, Belushi’s manager said:” We wanted to add an event on to the first community craft market to encourage businesses in Fore Street to get involved and being Easter Sunday this seemed like a fun solution -it’s also exciting for the kids as they get to explore and look for the eggs”
The Lions club are also holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt and Sand Sculpture competition on Towan beach from 1pm. The Aquarium will also have their “turt-ally Turtles” event running which brings to the forefront the plight of the sea turtles with a series of talks, workshops and videos highlighting what steps you can take to make a difference all over the Easter period
