Newquay is packed full of exciting events this Christmas Season and picking up your copy of the BID’s Christmas Events Programme will make sure that you’re able to plan the perfect Christmas!  With Santa’s Grotto, Christmas Carols, exclusive surf footage from Rodney Sumpter and a traditional Christmas Panto, you can create your very own, custom made, picture perfect Christmas.

The BID’s Festive Festival  will also kick off on Friday 30th November with a fantastic day of real life Reindeer making an exclusive appearance before dashing off to the North Pole to get ready for the Christmas period. In addition to real life Reindeer the BID will be hosting its first Christmas food and craft fair outside of the Hotel Victoria from 12pm until 8pm. There will be a range of stalls meeting all your Christmas shopping needs. Treat yourself to some warming festive delights, with homemade chutneys and jams from Berrio Mill Foods or Christmas hampers from The Pantry. The Brownie Baker will be there with a delicious selection of brownies to satisfy your sweet tooth, as well as stalls selling sweets, crepes and Christmas cakes.

Find unique gifts for yourself friends and family with stunning homemade crafts. Buy gorgeous Christmas decorations from Laura Likes or charming personalised children’s bracelets from Sparkly Parties, plus a wide range of stalls selling gifts such as Driftwood Frames, handmade cushions and luxury soaps.

Throughout the BID’s Festive Festival from Friday 30th November to Sunday 2nd December, there will be exciting street entertainment. On Friday catch the mischievous and wonderful Jack Frost on Bank Street or take the kids to East Street to see the amazing balloon modelling on Saturday.  Finishing the entertainment on Sunday there will be enchanting appearances from stilt walking Reindeer, look out for live music from local band Steel Appeal as well.

On Saturday and Sunday Newquay Town centre business invite you to come and take part in an array of craft works shops, children’s Christmas entertainment and live music. Saturday 1st December bring the family along to join Little Rainbow at the Steam Bar for some festive face painting that all children will love. Also watch Newquay town centre illuminate as the judging starts to take place for the town’s spectacular window dressing competition. In the evening there’s one for the grown-ups with live music at the Koola Bar from the band Beachfield (under 18s only).

On Sunday 2nd December discover your creative side with Emma and Francis at Café Irie to get festive with buttons and enjoy an afternoon creating vintage button themed cards and bracelets. Also on Sunday 2nd don’t miss your chance see an amazing Magic Show with Harry Kazzam for an exciting afternoon of magical festive fun at the Hotel Victoria.
