1 Pound Parking Initiative£1 evening parking poster

Newquay BID is part of the process for the consultation of parking charges with Cornwall Council. During December to March the BID has also promoted the £1 parking scheme that was put in place for some Town Centre car parks.

Starting in 2014 the Council also dropped the prices of many car parks in Newquay to only £ in the evenings during the Summer months. The bed then used this to start a marketing campaign to encourage visitors and residents to come and enjoy Newquay’s restaurants attractions such as the cinema during the evening.
