Thanks to Newquay Business Improvement District (BID), much loved Music & Ale Festival is set to return with a splash on Friday 28th November. The family friendly event will run until Sunday 30th November and is sure to get toes tapping. The event will kick off at 11am each day and will be keeping the crowds entertained until 11pm (except on Sunday 30th November when the event will finish at 5 pm).
With a whole host of brilliant bands and luscious local ales, the event has found a fantastic new home on the Fore Street Car Park, snuggled in alongside the fabulous Food and Craft Market. So whether it’s music, food or ale, there is guaranteed to be something to tickle the taste buds!
The three day event has been funded by Newquay Business Improvement District (BID), will be sponsored by local Skinners Brewery and will be run by Quick Panda Productions, the creators of the hugely popular Little Apple Festival.
Festival-goers will be protected from the elements under a large marquee where they can enjoy the musical entertainment of bands such as Wille and the Bandits, The Loose Salute, Rudis Message, The Belfast Busker and Blue Horyzon along with an array of talented street performers.
BID Manager Kate Cortez says of the event: “We’re delighted that the festival is back for Christmas 2014 as a very key part of the festive Festival. We are working with Quick Panda Productions to put together such an eclectic, exciting musical line up which will be complimented by Cornwall’s best ales and lots of lovely, warming non-alcoholic drinks”.
“The festival has switched locations this year to the Fore Street Car Park, this space allows for a buzz of street performers to embrace the marquee. With the added element of the neighbouring Food & Craft Market, we just know there will be something for everyone to devour and dance to!”
