Experience Newquay, funded support from EN to drive out of season footfall across LN social and website including seasonal video production
Love Newquay Merch, online seller set up, looking to sell within Newquay businesses Pre summer driving additional revenue to BID Levy
PR News/tv /Radio high coverage of Budget announcement /events
Press trips completed 16 in total covering multiple routes (24/25 to be discussed potential America)

Theme 2 Events
Newquay Street Market , Currently waiting for funding from CC levelling Up Fund application , We are planning Bi-weekly Farmers Markets and Monthly Creative Markets .Currently reviewing location options with NTC/CC . Experience Newquay to be approached in no funding .
Zombie Carnival , After Two hugely successful events we will be pulling a working party together including NTC to look at growing to become a weekend event themed SPOOKY NEWQUAY
Love Christmas, Highly successful Christmas weekend event with BID/NTC/EN collab. Market as well as lantern Parade .School Choirs and weekly additional weekend entertainment well received . (Working Paty of all collaborators
Christmas Lights , Very successful collab with NTC to supply brand new lights across all of Newquay Town Centre ( 3 year deal) Trenance supplied with NTC old stock to illuminate Trenance cottages
Harbour Festival , Businesses working together to promote Harbour with NTC and BID support .Weekend Event under planning for this year with BID support over original Fish Festival timings including Markets and Entertainment .
Miracle on Fore Street /Polar Express, Business led initiatives supported my BID very successful.
Theme 3 Cleaner/Greener/Safer
DISC Crime app Shopwatch now +200 users 101 reporting now fixed
Radio Loan scheme Civil Enforcement and Retail shop to support NAC
Shopwatch/pubwatch meetings attended and planned for future engagement
Blue Signs planned spring clean pre-Easter
Monthly Walk about with BIFFA / Environmental health targeting risk areas
Safe Space, New BID led initiative to promote Newquay as the first town in Cornwall to be a safe space town, invitation to businesses going out this week
Fraud Awareness Training, working with Police and Trading standards to support fraud awareness across supporting customers and business Spring 24 pilot scheme
BID BUSTERS, Untidy /dirty streets to be flagged to us, we will contact necessary council or sort ourselves
Graffiti focus supported by local maintenance business with Handy Man shop support
Experience Newquay, BID/ TT backed funding to support clean-up of vacant businesses premises and new street furniture to support place changing focus
Hanging Baskets /Flower Beds, continued funding support to NTC and Newquay in Bloom for 24
Theme 4 Business Support and Representation
Love Newquay Social, inviting businesses to be featured across Love Newquay Channels through events and listings on our new website as well as social content support.
Destination Newquay, continuing to build partnership with Cornwall Airport Newquay through targeting incoming destinations (American market potential)
Boardmasters partnership, out of season Christmas shop Local campaign, meeting set up with BM team to discuss actions to drive footfall this year
New Business support, targeted engagement with new business to provide social media and additional support through all BID themes (opportunity to grow Voluntary levy payers’ businesses) Opportunity to consider expanding BID Boundary for next term
Meet and greet, daily town centre visibility signposting support across all issues.
Street Meets /Open office, February /March opportunity to discuss BID projects and share best practice and future ideas.
