Newquay BID have committed to trailing a 12-month advertising space for a 10 second static advert on 5 digital 50-inch screens at the popular location of Cornwall Service Station. With footfall over 1.8 million per year with 80% of the visitors being from areas within Cornwall, Newquay BID have seized the opportunity to market Newquay as a town to visit all year through with the view of increasing day visits footfall. Working with ICG Creative, the marketing campaign will feature high quality images which showcase Newquay and all of its credentials, from top class beaches, miles of coastline, the focus on health and well being and the vast retail offering and eclectic town centre mix of the rural and urban, beach lifestyle that’s on offer, with the view of increasing Newquay’s profile and perception to those residents of other Cornish towns and cities and enticing visitors to stop by in Newquay.
The advertising space will also be utilised to promote other BID marketing campaigns including free summer evening and winter parking, promotion of BID funded and led events to ensure greater marketing exposure and potentially a new audience reach.
All BID funded events will have the chance to advertise their event for a week prior to it taking pace as part of Newquay BID’s offering of in-kind support. The BID Manager will be in contact with those funded event organisers to gather this content in due course.
