Newquay Business Week returns for 2016 with another 5 days packed full of inspiring, informative and innovative sessions to help businesses in Newquay thrive and grow. Last year saw over 300 tickets sold and hundreds of businesses attend. The week is organised by Newquay BID as a key part of the second term business plan to support businesses in the town.
The week will offer visitors access to advice and resources from influential speakers to help nurture and grow not only their companies, but also Newquay as a destination town for businesses to be based, visit and grow. From pioneering start-ups to larger enterprises, all businesses, no matter their size, are invited to attend any of the sessions taking place throughout the week.
Sessions will cover a wide range of topics, from branding and communications, to ecommerce, sustainability and growth and everything in between, and will be hosted by speakers who are recognised as some of the best in their fields.
Karen Hoyle, Director of Newquay BID explains; “We were delighted with the huge success of last year and all businesses who came along learned a lot and had the chance to meet other businesses. We attracted business owners and names from the whole of Cornwall and really started to put Newquay on the business map. This year we will continue to drive that forward and for all those that said ‘I wish had had gone’ last year – now is your chance. Newquay is a hub of entrepreneurs and exciting business people and Newquay BID is committed to supporting their growth in the town”.
Sessions will be held in venues across Newquay, showcasing the great business venues Newquay has to offer. Business Week will also feature a welcome breakfast to launch the schedule, and close with networking and celebratory drinks, allowing visitors to meet speakers and other business owners alike.
Business Week will be held from Monday 10th to Friday 14th October. The full schedule will be announced in the next few weeks, and online booking will be released in September. Full details will be released on the Newquay BID website and will feature in Newquay Voice.
After the success of the first ever business week last year, business week will continue to grow and be bigger and better this year.
