We need your festive events!

At the end of November, Newquay Business Improvement District (Newquay BID) is excited to be launching the eighth Festive Events Guide to Newquay which will be available to digitally download from the website and hard copies of the publications will be distributed. This guide will be produced to showcase Newquay and its offerings over the festive period and increase footfall throughout the period.

The 12-page guide will promise to help you plan the perfect Christmas in Newquay. All events being held from 1st December until 5th January will be included. Everything from family parties, quizzes, live music, church services, movie marathons, work party get-togethers, festive yoga classes to Christmas markets and firework displays will be included, but we need your help to do so. We are calling for all businesses, charity groups and community event organisers to submit their event details via email by Friday 2nd November. To obtain a copy of the events submission form, you can either visit the Newquay BID website and download the form or email info@newquaybid.co.uk and we can send you a copy. This is a free listing and all events within the Newquay area will be considered. If you are organising any events or know someone who is, please make sure they submit their events to us.

8,000 copies of the guide are being produced with 5,000 being distributed by Newquay Voice and the remaining 3,000 available to local businesses and members of the public. The guide will also be available to digitally download from the Newquay BID website.

Carla Jones, BID Manager, commented: “We’re so excited to be launching our eighth Festive Events Guide to Newquay and this year we are hoping to pack it full of events to keep you going all the way though till January 5th. In order to do this, we need your help. Newquay is a fantastic place to be during the festive period, so we need to make sure that everyone knows about all the great events that are taking place this year. The programme will also give a step by step guide to Newquay’s Festive Festival being held on Friday 30th November, which is one you will not want to miss!’’

Make sure you send those events into Newquay BID by the deadline in order to be included.
