Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) project is to help improve the skills of employees in small or medium-sized businesses. Funded by the European Social Fund, this is an opportunity for individuals to update their skills and knowledge and for employers to plug their skills gap.

What training is available?

Training is provided by a network of providers in Cornwall including; Cornwall College & Duchy College, Truro & Penwith College, Petroc College,  Adult Education, DMTBS, ETS, Focus, GHQ  and those forming The Cornwall Learning Partnership.

Each training provider offer a wide range of courses and qualifications and bespoke packages to suit both the employee and business needs, all leading to a recognised qualification. Much of the training can take place on-site to fit in with the demands of your business.

There are countless courses available, ranging from first aid and health and safety training, to project planning and developing your business techniques.
