The Newquay Neighbourhood Agreement and Community Network teams are looking for volunteers to assist with a re-run of last year’s very successful bench painting project.
“Last year’s project was amazing and we had an excellent group of enthusiastic volunteers that helped us to re-paint over 100 of the town’s benches, which made a real difference to the appearance of the town ready for the summer season. This year we want to build on this success and paint even more! We’re appealing to businesses and individuals who care about Newquay to help us improve the town and show that we’re most definitely open for business”
There is an opportunity for the whole community to be involved either as an individual, as part of a team from an organisation or as a business. Businesses can help by releasing staff to volunteer for a day, by donating some paint or equipment or by donating some refreshments for the hardworking volunteers.
We plan to start on Friday 25th April and continue on Saturday 26th April (Weather permitting).
